In Search of Waves

Fri Nov 20, 2009, 2:21 PM
  • Mood: Love
  • Listening to: 101.1 Substation 2
  • Watching: GhostHunters
  • Drinking: Wasser!!
I feature art in my journal in a manner that will hopefully prove different than most. Every once in a while I will do a search for a random word (thanks to bibliomancy) while trying to keep the great deviations somewhat "unknown".

Today's search was for the word "waves".... and the chosen ones are (in no particular order):

And in real life:

Dead End and I are getting ready to move into a bigger apartment. The joy is that I'll have my own studio room (my hubby is soooo generous!!!) and will finally get my stuff out of storage. The down side is that we're chin high in boxes, the dog is stressed and right now, Dead End is sadly down with the flu.

I haven't done much art recently, as the days are short and my vision is still often doubled. The doctors at least have figured out what's going on with that. It's a bad disease, but they caught it before it got too bad. I am really lucky. I can only hope that its advancement stalls until they can do whatever treatment is prescribed.

I plan to make the new place be awash in color. Dead End has good decorating sensibilities, but the color scheme is a bit on the drab side (even though he has many beautiful Asian prints). Strangely enough, we both tended towards Birch furniture, even before meeting. That worked out well. The place is going to end up looking like the lighting room at IKEA. lol - I'm really excited about all of this! ... and, we will have a true dining space and place for more than 3 people to sit, so I can entertain! Yayy.

If I don't journal again before the move (Dec. 1), happy Thanksgiving to all!
