This is my first painted portrait ever, done in oil. Thus far I had done 2 portraits in my life. Both were in pencil. This is modeled after dA's lonelyinheaven pic Big Hat [link] Thanks for the permission to paint. It finally dried!
No, unfortunately not. I had to do major adjusting to get the colors right. The paint was sufficiently thick enough that the canvas wasn't completely flat on the scanner, so some colors were a lot more faint than in actuality. But hey, at least I got my scanner back up.
