I found myself dreaming of an artist I am involved with through another on-line community. He does wonderful digital abstract work that I could only see with the help of his eyes. Obviously his work has gotten into my head, and I dreamt of his life in Holland.

In the dream he lived in an old, high ceilinged, white walled apartment with a view of the sea through big Dutch windows. His apartment was sparsely decorated. I saw only two rooms. A big open living room with beautiful wooden floors that had nothing but a writing desk and a sofa in it. This led to a kitchen which also had big windows in which only the most basic industrial sized necessities were found.

In the dream, I only recall seeing the back of his lower legs. They were scarred blood red from the Achilles tendon vertically up to the bend of his knees. His feet were wrapped in blue towels and wheels from roller skates poked through, so that he could roll across the vast expanse of living room into the industrial kitchen.

In the next part, I was transported to being over the sea and was able to float above an aircraft he had piloted out from his apartment. The aircraft was motorized, but was mainly composed of balloon parts... colorful silks stitched together. The machines were silent under the bright blue sky.

I guess I have to write this here, because I have a feeling if I noted it to him, it might be a bit freaky. ;)

Fascinating dream and well described. :)

I hadn't had that kind of a dream for a long time. I spend a relatively big amount of time pondering this guy's artwork. It's almost always abstract photos and I can hardly ever figure out what it "is" when he does the abstract stuff. I really like that. Bubble or Artmesh "Jan Kölling".
